Allocate Technologies helps investment professionals monitor and manage their alternative investment portfolios by providing high-quality, structured data in a single platform. We are seeking an Account Manager to own SaaS client relationships, ensure seamless onboarding, and drive long-term engagement.
Primary Objectives:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing SaaS clients.
Client Onboarding
Work closely with clients to gather investment data and documents required for onboarding.
Coordinate with internal Data Operations team to ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Provide educational demos on the portfolio monitoring interface.
Conduct regular check-in meetings with clients during the onboarding process to assess their needs and satisfaction.
Client Support & Engagement
Address client inquiries.
Work with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies or issues.
Keep clients informed about product updates, enhancements, and new features.
Identify opportunities for product adoption and additional service offerings.
Gather client feedback to improve service quality and inform product development team.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions in CRM system.
Qualifications:
2-3+ years of applicable client relationship management or project management.
Strong understanding of venture capital, private equity, and alternative investment structures.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-centric approach.
Proficiency in CRM tools and data management platforms.

Additional Details:
Location: New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA (must be able to work from our local NYC or Menlo offices 3 days a week or as needed)
Salary Range: $80-110k base salary + equity.
Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, location, skills, training, certifications and education, other relevant qualifications specific to the role, and internal equity and market data. Total compensation may include equity and discretionary performance-based bonuses based on individual, team, and company performance factors.
